ELL provides beginning, intermediate and advanced instruction in listening, speaking, reading and writing English. Students will take a placement test on the first night to determine the level they will be placed in for the upcoming classes. Books will be provided after placements are determined.

Mandatory placement testing for ELL sections will take place on June 8, 2026 at 7 p.m. After testing, students will be placed in the appropriate level.聽 All classes will begin the week of June 15. Once established, all levels will be 40 hours of instruction.

Level 5 – Advanced
Level 4 – Intermediate

Level 3 – Low Intermediate
Level 2 – Beginner

This engaging 10-week course is designed to help high-intermediate and advanced English learners communicate with greater confidence and sophistication. Students will practice speaking fluently in extended conversations, expressing ideas clearly and persuasively, and using advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions naturally.

Through interactive activities and real-world scenarios, participants will strengthen their ability to navigate both professional and social conversations. The course also focuses on improving listening skills, helping students understand nuance such as tone, humor, and implied meaning for more effective communication.

Students will be聽supported in gaining speaking and some writing skills.聽This is a great start for students who have very limited English speaking and writing skills.聽Students will be given books and will receive 20 hours of ELL support.聽This is the perfect start before you join us for one of our other ELL classes!聽
